Apex Alchemy Ursa Major Most companies offering topical botanical extracts and most topical product brands in general build a one-size-fits-all carrier used throughout their product lines.  While this does streamline the formulation process, in many cases, it can often lead to lower concentration products and the inconveniences that come along with these more dilute products; extra spraying, dabbing, measuring, slathering, and longer drying times, often leaving the skin feeling either rough and dried out or overly sticky/tacky.  Our unique liquid crystal suspension is a “serum” style carrier that delivers our concentrated botanical blends at less than half the volume per application at the high end of our recommended application scheme; those using smaller applications of our products may find themselves applying as little as 1/10th the volume of product they’re used to.

Apex Alchemy Ursa Major Our carrier starts with a highly concentrated co-solution custom tailored to the specific botanical ingredients of each product and offering the light skin feel of a thin lotion or serum.  It is then dispensed through our top of the line spray top for an efficient and effective application.  As the co-solution is warmed by contact with your skin the evaporative components are quickly driven off and our self-emulsifying agents go to work offering the penetration enhancements these emulsifiers provide and combining with the botanical extracts to form liquid crystals; microscopic envelopes of the botanical extract wrapped in emulsifiers that aid skin penetration and absorption.  Finally as the product is absorbed into the skin our self-occluding emollients create a barrier and drive the emulsified botanical extracts into the deepest layers of the skin in order to provide the maximum benefits of our unique and powerful ingredients.
